During this uncertain time, I want to make sure that my clients understand that I am taking great caution to protect your loved ones and all parties involved in a real estate transaction. People are still buying and selling real estate during the coronavirus pandemic but we are doing so safely. We have to adjust and adapt to changing times but buyers are still looking for homes and sellers still need to sell.
We’ve always been able to do virtual tours and a lot of real estate transactions can be done online with E-signatures and secure transfers of important documents for lenders and escrow but now we’ve upped our game even more with virtual meetings via Zoom, virtual open houses, live Facebook events, online property brochures, and e-signature documents for title companies, escrow, lenders, home inspections and appraisals.
I can still do live showings with the right precautions in place as well. If you prefer to see a home in person, I make sure to take all precautions necessary to keep you and your family as safe as possible. Practicing social distancing, cleanliness, and conducting business the right way means that buyers and sellers can still come together to get the job done.
ZERO CONTACT MORTGAGE?
Many lenders are now offering a zero contact mortgage. Nearly everything can be done online. From transferring of documents in a secure fashion to E-signatures, over the phone consultations, information exchange, and even final signing can be done online. Depending on the lender, there may be just one point of contact toward the end of the transaction. A mobile notary will come to your location and securely handle all of the final closing documents.
I’ve worked with several reputable lenders over the years and have a small collection of reliable and creative lenders to choose from depending on whether you’re choosing a Refinance, VA loan, conventional, or an FHA. My lenders work hard to keep people safe, secure, and offer a wide range of programs and options for every financial situation.
